Pricing Guidelines
Listed below are price guidelines for the most common sizes of patio umbrellas.
Please keep in mind that prices will vary somewhat if your unit rates between two sizes.
Also consider the following:
• Rectangular covers are more expensive due to the higher complexity of layout, cutting and sewing compared to round or square units.
• For the same reason, a cover for a 12-panel umbrella will cost more than one of equal diameter with only 6 panels
What size is your cover?
To get an idea of what size your cover rates on a round umbrella, simply take measurement B x 2 (see 'Measuring Tips' on the left for explanation), and divide by 12 - that's the umbrella size in ft.
Square and rectangular units are simple - just measure the side length corner to corner.
Why do our covers cost more than others you might find?
• Nobody else custom makes covers, one at a time, each one to different specifications, the way we do. It is labour intensive and doesn't lend itself to large-scale production in a Chinese factory.
• We do not pre-produce anything. Covers are made when the order is placed, laid out to your exact specifications, and cut by hand.
• The fabric we use is the best on the market, period. Don't get fooled by durability claims for nameless polyester, nylon or olefin fabrics - U.S. Made Sunbrella Acrylic Fabrics are the Platinum Standard for outdoor fabrics. Ask anyone in the Marine, Automotive or Awning industry about Sunbrella fabrics, then decide for yourself if it's worth to pay more for top quality.
• If you are lucky enough to find a 'Universal Fit' replacement cover off the shelf, there is a very good chance it will actually not fit, and the sellers say so explicitly.
• Ask the sellers of 'Universal Fit' replacement covers about their warranty. You'll be lucky to get one year, and the fit is not guaranteed at all.
• We guarantee both the fit and the durability for 3 years, and our customer feedback speaks for itself.
• You may save some money trying to get by with a cheap cover, but you will save lots of time and aggravation by ordering from UmbrellaRecovery - your cover will fit right the first time, and your umbrella will look better, longer. We leave it for you to decide what makes more sense to you.
